Born and raised in Houston’s vibrant Near Northside, Ericka Hernandez brings a unique blend of project management expertise and creative storytelling to her craft. With a degree from the University of Houston and a career that spans public affairs, marketing, and nonprofit leadership, Ericka has honed her skills in media relations and content creation, shaping narratives that connect and inspire.

As a proud graduate of United Way’s Project Blueprint Class XXXIX, Ericka’s commitment to her community is unwavering. She currently serves on the advisory committee of Amazing Place, advocating for those impacted by dementia. Her leadership extends to roles with the Houston Association of Hispanic Media Professionals and Greater Houston Partnership HYPE Champion, among others.

When she’s not behind the camera, you can find Ericka exploring Houston’s renowned food scene or immersing herself in the city’s rich cultural tapestry. Her camera is never far away, always ready to capture the essence of the moment.
